I'm sure by now you've heard about meditation. I'm sure you have heard of all the potential benefits that can be gained by meditation. And I'm sure by now you have at least tried to meditate at some point in your life? Right? If you haven't - I ask you. "Where have you been?" Well, it doesn't matter... You're in the right place now. I'm going to explain how just 10 minutes a day can completely transform your life. For all you experienced meditators out there. You know what I'm talking about.
"How do I start?" you ask. It's very simple actually, but the main obstacle for most people is discipline and distractions. The discipline part - just commit to ten minutes a day for 2-3 weeks and you will develop a habit. Once you set the routine and make time for it in your schedule, you will quickly incorporate your meditation practice into your daily life - but to do this - You'll need to eliminate as many distractions as you can. Think about a time of day when you are least likely to be disturbed by the spouse/roommate or the kids/pets. Once you establish a routine, you'll be well on your way to transforming your life - Yes , Really! It is possible.
First, you may want to get some informational material to help you on your journey. I recommend several books by ( click link ) Dr. Joe Dispenza. Next, practice your breathing. Breathing techniques are the foundation of meditation. Working with the breath will get your brain and body in a relaxed, harmonious state, allowing you to sink right in quickly. Remember, you'll only be sitting ten minutes.
